Sustainable beekeeping means putting the bees’ welfare and health first. The beekeepers work with responsible and ethical practices to create a balanced relationship between themselves, the bees, and the environment. The liquid gold known as honey should benefit both nature and humans. 

How can we care for the bees? 
Caring for the bees, minimizing harm, and prioritizing their well-being means using organic and biological practices such as:

• Avoid using synthetic pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides that can harm bees and contaminate honey. Instead, they may use natural methods for pest and disease control.
• Ensure that bees access a diverse range of floral resources. They may even plant or maintain specific plants to provide optimal nutrition for bees.
• Prioritize the welfare of bees by leaving enough honey in the hive for the colony's needs. This helps minimize stress during inspections.
• Maintain detailed records of their practices and follow certification standards to assure consumers of the honey's quality and production methods
